Ethiopian Calendar is a mobile application used to track date & holidays in Ethiopia.It can also be used to convert dates from/to Gregorian calendar & remind Ethiopian national holidays, Ethiopian Orthodox fasts & feasts and internationally recognized dates.

It is created for almost all type of mobiles, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, Nokia,  BlackBerry and all J2ME Supporting phones. It can be downloaded from different locations based on the type of phone you have. It is available  in App Store, Google Play (Google market place), Windows Phone market place and source forge!

Depending on the type of phone it is installed to, the App have different user interface and functionality. See the corresponding sections in for more information.

Ethiopian Calendar can also run on Mobiles supporting J2ME. The J2ME version of Ethiopian Calendar App has a basic Month view which can show the Current Month in Ethiopian Calendar. In this View, the Application highlights the date with a Public Holidays in Red Color. The App, has also a day view that can show informaion related to a given date including holiday in that date,  religious information and  internationally recognized dates. To see the details in a date, we can use the menu item ‘Open’ from the month view after the required date is selected(highlighted). To return to the main month view, the menu item “Month” can be used. We can also navigate to any arbitrary date using the menu item “Go to date” and by providing the date, month and year values.
